Use this labor probability calculator to estimate the likelihood of going into labor on a specific day based on your due date and other factors.
How to Use the Labor Probability Calculator
To use this calculator, simply input the number of weeks you are pregnant, your age, and the number of prior births you have had. Once you have entered the information, click on the “Calculate” button to see the probability of labor.
How It Calculates the Results
This calculator uses an estimated model to determine the probability of labor. For each week of pregnancy, it adds 0.5 percentage points. For every year of maternal age, it adds 0.05 points, and for each prior birth, it adds 0.3 points. These values are then summed to give a result between 0% and 100%.
Limitations of the Calculator
This tool provides a rough estimation and should not be taken as medical advice. Many factors can affect the onset of labor that are not considered by this calculator, such as health conditions, lifestyle, and genetic factors. Always consult with a healthcare provider for an accurate assessment of labor probability.
