How to Use the PFP (Body Fat Percentage) Calculator

This calculator helps you estimate your body fat percentage and lean body mass. Here’s the process:

  1. Enter your weight in kilograms.
  2. Enter your height in centimeters.
  3. Enter your age.
  4. Select your gender from the dropdown.
  5. Measure and enter your neck circumference in centimeters.
  6. Measure and enter your waist circumference in centimeters.
  7. If you are female, measure and enter your hip circumference in centimeters (optional for males).
  8. Press the “Calculate” button to see your results.

How It Calculates The Results

The calculator uses the U.S. Navy Method for estimating body fat percentage:

For males: Body Fat % = 86.010 * log10(Waist - Neck) - 70.041 * log10(Height) + 36.76

For females: Body Fat % = 163.205 * log10(Waist + Hip - Neck) - 97.684 * log10(Height) - 78.387

Lean Body Mass is then calculated as: Weight * ((100 - Body Fat %) / 100)
