Vw = (Vi * (Ai / Ad)) - Vi
- Vw is the volume of water you need to add (in ml).
- Vi is the initial volume of alcohol (in ml).
- Ai is the initial alcohol percentage (ABV).
- Ad is the desired alcohol percentage (ABV).
Keep in mind the calculator assumes perfect mixing and no volume contraction or expansion. It is an estimation tool and should not be used for precise dilutions where exact measurements are critical.
