How to Use the Wordle Calculator
This calculator will help you analyze your guess in the Wordle game. Simply enter your guessed word and the actual solution word. Both inputs must be exactly 5 letters. Once entered, click the “Calculate” button to get the result.
How It Calculates the Results
The calculator performs a two-pass comparison. First, it flags any correct letters in the correct place, then it searches for correct letters in the wrong place. Correct letters in the correct position will appear in uppercase, whereas correct letters in the wrong position will appear in lowercase. Letters that do not exist in the solution word will remain as underscores (_).
Limitations
The calculator assumes input words are real, correctly-spelled 5-letter words. It will not check for word validity against a dictionary and is case-insensitive.
