How to Use the Calculator
Enter the total credit hours and the sum of GPA points you’ve earned so far (GPA points are calculated by multiplying the credit hours for each course by the grade points associated with the grade you received in the course, then summing all these values). Then press “Calculate” to see your cumulative GPA.
How It Calculates Results
The calculator takes the total GPA points earned and divides that by the total number of credits attempted which provides the cumulative GPA.
Limitations of the Calculator
The calculator assumes all courses have the same weight in credits, which might not be true for all educational systems. It also requires all input to be numerical and will not compute if any of the fields are left empty or have invalid input.
