This tool helps you easily keep track of your darts game’s scores.
How to Use the Darts Scoring Calculator
To use this calculator, follow these steps:
- Enter the names of Player 1 and Player 2 in the respective fields.
- The starting score for both players is set to 501 by default. Adjust these numbers if necessary.
- Enter the score for the current turn for each player in the “Player 1 Turn Score” and “Player 2 Turn Score” fields.
- Click the “Calculate” button to update the scores.
- The result field will show the updated scores or declare a winner if a player’s score reaches exactly zero.
How It Calculates Results
The calculator subtracts the score for the current turn from the player’s total score. If a player’s score goes below zero, the turn is invalid, and the score will reset to 501 for that player. The first player to reach exactly zero wins the game, and this will be displayed in the result field.
Limitations
This calculator does not include error validation for negative scores or any score higher than the current total. Additionally, it only accepts numerical input for the turn score fields and names with alphanumerical characters.
