Carnivore Diet Macros Calculator – Accurate Macro Tracking

This tool helps you calculate your ideal macronutrient intake for a carnivore diet.

How to Use the Carnivore Diet Macros Calculator

To use this calculator, simply fill in your age, weight, height, gender, and activity level. Once you’ve entered all the required information, click the ‘Calculate’ button to see your recommended daily intake of macronutrients for a carnivore diet.

Explanation of Calculation

The calculator uses the Harris-Benedict Equation to estimate your Basal Metabolic Rate (BMR), which is the number of calories your body needs at rest. Your Total Daily Energy Expenditure (TDEE) is then calculated by multiplying your BMR by an activity factor that corresponds to your activity level.

  • Sedentary (little or no exercise): BMR x 1.2
  • Lightly active (light exercise/sports 1-3 days/week): BMR x 1.375
  • Moderately active (moderate exercise/sports 3-5 days/week): BMR x 1.55
  • Active (hard exercise/sports 6-7 days a week): BMR x 1.725
  • Very active (very hard exercise/sports & physical job): BMR x 1.9

For a carnivore diet, the macronutrient ratios are approximately 70% calories from fat and 30% calories from protein. Carbohydrates are essentially reduced to zero.
