How It Calculates
The final semester grade is calculated based on the following weights:
- Assignment 1: 20%
- Assignment 2: 20%
- Midterm Exam: 25%
- Final Exam: 25%
- Class Participation: 10%
The total grade is computed by multiplying each individual grade by its corresponding weight and summing up these values to get the final semester grade.
Limitations
This calculator assumes that each category (assignment, exams, participation) has an assigned weight and all grades are out of 100. It does not account for extra credit or special grading policies that an instructor might use. Ensure you enter valid numerical values between 0 and 100 for accurate results.
