SGPA Calculator
This SGPA (Semester Grade Point Average) calculator helps you calculate your SGPA based on the number of subjects, the credits associated with each subject, and the grades obtained in each subject. Follow the instructions below to use the calculator and understand how it works.
How to Use the SGPA Calculator

- For each subject, enter the number of credits and the grade obtained.
- Once all inputs are filled, click “Calculate” to get your SGPA.
How the Calculation Works
The calculator follows these steps to calculate the SGPA:
- For each subject, it multiplies the grade point (based on the grade entered) by the number of credits for that subject.
- The sum of these products is then divided by the total number of credits taken in the semester.
- The result is the SGPA, which is displayed with two decimal precision.
Limitations
This calculator assumes that the grades follow a specific grade point values:
- A: 10
- B: 8
