How it Calculates:

The calculator parses the input IP address and Subnet Mask, verifies their validity, then converts them to binary format. The Network Address is calculated by performing a bitwise AND operation between the IP address and the Subnet Mask. The Broadcast Address is calculated by performing a bitwise OR operation between the IP address and the inverse of the Subnet Mask.
