How it Calculates:
The calculator converts battery capacity from mAh to watt-hours (Wh). The formula used is:
batteryWh = (batteryCapacity * voltage) / 1000
Then it divides this energy by the power consumption of the device to estimate the running time:
runningTime = (batteryWh * efficiency) / devicePower
Limitations:
- The calculator assumes a constant power consumption which may not be true for all devices.
- The efficiency value is an approximation. Actual efficiency can be influenced by numerous factors.
