Ben Egg Calculator – Accurate Egg Counting Tool

This tool will calculate the total number of eggs you will have based on the number of baskets and eggs per basket.

How to Use the Ben Egg Calculator

This calculator helps you estimate your daily calorie needs based on the Ben Egg formula, which takes into account your weight, height, age, gender, and activity level.

Instructions

  • Enter your weight in kilograms.
  • Enter your height in centimeters.
  • Enter your age in years.
  • Select your gender.
  • Choose your activity level from the dropdown menu.
  • Click the “Calculate” button to see your daily calorie needs.

How it Calculates

The calculator uses the following equations to estimate your Basal Metabolic Rate (BMR):

For males: 88.362 + (13.397 * weight) + (4.799 * height) – (5.677 * age)

For females: 447.593 + (9.247 * weight) + (3.098 * height) – (4.330 * age)

Then it multiplies the BMR by an activity level factor to estimate your total daily caloric needs:

  • Sedentary: BMR * 1.2
  • Lightly active: BMR * 1.375
  • Moderately active: BMR * 1.55
  • Very active: BMR * 1.725
  • Super active: BMR * 1.9

Limitations

Please note that this calculator provides an estimate and may not be accurate for everyone. Factors like muscle mass, overall health, and individual metabolic variations are not accounted for. For personalized advice, consult a healthcare professional.
