This cofunction calculator will help you quickly calculate the trigonometric cofunctions of angles provided by you.
Co-Function Calculator
Use this calculator to compute the trigonometric co-functions of a given angle. Co-function of a trigonometric function is another function at an angle complementary to it. For example, the co-function of sine (sin) is the cosine (cos), and vice versa.
How to Use the Calculator
- Enter the angle in degrees in the first input field.
- Select the trigonometric function you wish to compute from the dropdown menu.
- Click the “Calculate” button to see the result.
How It Calculates Results
The calculator uses the JavaScript Math object’s trigonometric functions to compute the values based on the angle you provide. First, it converts the angle from degrees to radians since JavaScript computes trigonometric functions using radians. It then uses the selected function to calculate the result.
Limitations
The outputs for secant (sec), cosecant (csc), and cotangent (cot) are not defined when their corresponding sine (sin), cosine (cos), or tangent (tan) functions are equal to 0. In such cases, the calculator will display “Undefined”. Moreover, the accuracy is limited to the precision of JavaScript’s floating-point arithmetic.
