Use this color calculator to effortlessly mix colors and find the right hex codes for your design projects.

Color Calculator

Use this calculator to find the middle color between two hex color codes. Input each color as a hex code (for example, #ff0000 for red) in the fields above and click “Calculate” to see the result.

How to Use the Calculator

  1. Enter the first color’s hex code in the “Color 1” field.
  2. Enter the second color’s hex code in the “Color 2” field.
  3. Click the “Calculate” button to find the average color.

How It Calculates Results

The calculator takes the hexadecimal representations of two colors, converts them to their RGB components, averages these values, and then converts back to a hexadecimal color code.

Limitations

The calculator currently only accepts hex color codes (not color names or other formats). Ensure that the color codes start with a ‘#’ and are either three or six characters long, following the pattern #rrggbb or #rgb.
