The calculator estimates your registration fee by applying a percentage based on the age of the vehicle. The percentage decreases as the vehicle gets older, reflecting the lower value of the vehicle over time. For vehicles 1 year old or less, the fee is 10% of the vehicle’s value. This percentage decreases to 8%, 6%, 4%, and 2% as the vehicle ages up to over 10 years.
