How the DPS Calculator Works
To use the DPS calculator, you need to input the average ‘Damage Per Hit’ your character or weapon can inflict and how many ‘Hits Per Second’ it can perform. After filling in these two values, click the ‘Calculate’ button, and the calculator will provide you with the Damage Per Second (DPS) value.
How to Use the Calculator
- Enter the damage value of a single hit in the ‘Damage Per Hit’ field.
- Enter the average number of hits you can deliver in one second in the ‘Hits Per Second’ field.
- Click the ‘Calculate’ button to get your DPS result.
How It Calculates the Results
The DPS result is calculated simply by multiplying the ‘Damage Per Hit’ by ‘Hits Per Second’. For example, if you input 50 damage per hit and 2 hits per second, the DPS calculation will be 50 * 2 = 100 DPS.
Limitations
The calculator does not account for crits, hit chance, damage over time effects or other gameplay mechanics that could affect actual DPS in a live scenario. It provides a simple estimate based on static values entered by the user.
