### How It Works

This calculator uses the basic principles of error propagation for addition. For two values (Value 1 and Value 2), each with its own uncertainty (Error 1 and Error 2), the total error is the square root of the sum of the squares of the individual errors. Mathematically, it’s expressed as:

√(Error1² + Error2²)

The result is presented as the combined value ± the calculated error.

This calculator is a simplified version that assumes:

- Errors are uncorrelated and normally distributed.
- Only considers error propagation for direct addition, without accounting for more complex expressions or operations.
