Etsy Profit Calculator
How to Use the Etsy Profit Calculator:
- Enter the selling price of your item in the Item Price field.
- Input the cost of producing or purchasing your item in the Item Cost field.
- Specify the amount you’re charging the customer for shipping in the Shipping Charge field.
- Indicate the cost you actually pay for shipping in the Shipping Cost field.
- The Listing Fee is a fixed amount charged by Etsy per item listed, which is currently $0.20.
- The Transaction Fee (%) is a fixed percentage deducted from the selling price by Etsy, set at 5%.
- Click the Calculate button to determine your profit.
The calculator computes your net profit by subtracting the cost of the item, Etsy fees, and shipping costs from the total revenue (item price plus shipping charge).
Net Profit = (Item Price + Shipping Charge) – (Item Cost + Shipping Cost + Etsy Fees)
Limitations:
This calculator does not account for taxes, optional advertising fees, or possible variations in Etsy’s fee structure. It assumes fees are based on current Etsy rates and it does not take currency exchange rates into consideration. Actual profits may vary.
