How to Use This Calculator
To use this calculator, follow these steps:
- Enter the item price in the “Item Price” field.
- Enter the shipping cost in the “Shipping Cost” field.
- If required, adjust the Grailed fees percentage (default is 9%).
- If required, adjust the PayPal fees percentage (default is 2.9%).
- If required, adjust the PayPal fixed fee (default is $0.3).
- Click the “Calculate” button.
- The result showing the final amount remaining after fees will be displayed in the “Result” field.
Explanation of Calculations
The calculator processes the following steps to compute the final amount you will receive:
- First, it sums the item price and the shipping cost to get the total cost.
- Then, it calculates the Grailed fees as a percentage of the item price.
- Next, it calculates the PayPal fees as a percentage of the total cost, and adds the fixed PayPal fee.
- The total fees (Grailed and PayPal) are subtracted from the total cost to give the final amount you will receive.
Limitations
This calculator assumes that the provided shipping cost is the only cost related to shipping. It does not account for potential additional payments or deductions made outside of Grailed and PayPal fees. Values must be filled correctly for the calculations to be accurate.
