Use this tool to calculate the calories you burn based on your heart rate and workout duration.
Heart Rate Calorie Calculator
This Heart Rate Calorie Calculator helps you estimate the number of calories you burn during exercise based on your average heart rate, age, weight, height, sex, and duration of exercise.
How to Use:
- Enter your age in years.
- Enter your weight in kilograms.
- Enter your height in centimeters.
- Select your sex.
- Enter the duration of your exercise in minutes.
- Enter your average heart rate during the exercise in beats per minute (bpm).
- Click the “Calculate” button to see the estimated calories burned.
How It Works:
The calculator uses the following formulas to estimate your Basal Metabolic Rate (BMR) and calories burned:
- For Men: BMR = 88.362 + (13.397 x weight) + (4.799 x height) – (5.677 x age)
- For Women: BMR = 447.593 + (9.247 x weight) + (3.098 x height) – (4.330 x age)
The calories burned during exercise are estimated using the formula:
Calories Burned = ((age * 0.2017) – (weight * 0.09036) + (heart rate * 0.6309) – 55.0969) * duration / 4.184
Limitations:
Please note that the calculation provided is an estimate and may not be completely accurate for every individual. Factors such as fitness level, body composition, and type of exercise can affect the actual number of calories burned.
