### How It Calculates

The calculator uses the following formula to estimate your daily water needs:

- Base hydration amount is calculated as 0.033 liters per kilogram of body weight.
- This base amount is adjusted based on your age:
- For ages below 30, no adjustments are made.
- For ages 30 to 55, the base amount is multiplied by 0.95.
- For ages above 55, the base amount is multiplied by 0.90.
- The adjusted amount is then multiplied by your physical activity level classification.
