How It Works

- It converts the kilowatt-hours of electricity into an equivalent gallon of gasoline using the conversion factor of 33.7 kWh per gallon.
- It sums the actual gallons of fuel used and the equivalent gallons from electricity.
- It divides the total miles driven by the total gallons equivalent to compute the MPGe.
