This calculator allows you to compute your Body Mass Index (BMI), Basal Metabolic Rate (BMR), and Total Daily Energy Expenditure (TDEE) based on your weight, height, age, gender, and activity level.

How to Use the Calculator:

  1. Enter your weight in kilograms.
  2. Enter your height in centimeters.
  3. Enter your age in years.
  4. Select your gender.
  5. Choose your activity level from the dropdown menu.
  6. Click on the “Calculate” button.

How It Calculates:

BMI: Your BMI is calculated using the formula: BMI = weight / (height * height) where height is in meters.

BMR: Your Basal Metabolic Rate is estimated using the Mifflin-St Jeor Equation:

  • For males: BMR = 10 * weight + 6.25 * height - 5 * age + 5.
  • For females: BMR = 10 * weight + 6.25 * height - 5 * age - 161.

TDEE: Your Total Daily Energy Expenditure is calculated by multiplying your BMR with an activity factor:

  • Sedentary: BMR * 1.2
  • Lightly active: BMR * 1.375
  • Moderately active: BMR * 1.55
  • Active: BMR * 1.725
  • Very active: BMR * 1.9

Limitations:

The calculator provides a general estimate and may not accurately reflect certain individual conditions. For precise health assessments, consult with a medical or nutritional professional.
