How to Use the Odds Calculator
This odds calculator helps you calculate the potential profit and total return from a bet based on different types of odds: Decimal, Fractional, and American.
Instructions:
- Select the type of odds from the dropdown menu.
- Enter the odds based on the selected type:
- Decimal: e.g., 2.5
- Fractional: e.g., 3/1
- American: e.g., +200 or -150
- Enter the amount you plan to stake.
- Click the “Calculate” button to see the profit and total return.
Calculation Details:
The calculator uses the following formulas to compute the profit and total return:
- Decimal Odds: Profit = (Odds – 1) * Stake
- Fractional Odds: Profit = (Numerator / Denominator) * Stake
- American Odds:
- Positive Odds: Profit = (Odds / 100) * Stake
- Negative Odds: Profit = (100 / Absolute Value of Odds) * Stake
Total Return is simply the sum of the stake and the calculated profit.

Please note the following limitations:
- The input must be numerical for both odds and stake for accurate calculations.
- For fractional odds, ensure that they are properly formatted as Numerator/Denominator.
- The calculator does not account for any external factors such as betting platform fees or taxes.
- Any invalid input will result in an error message in the result field.
