How to Use the Prorated Rent Calculator
Enter your monthly rent amount, the total number of days in the month, and the number of days you rented the property. Press the “Calculate” button and you will see the prorated rent amount.
How It Calculates the Results
The calculator takes the total monthly rent and divides it by the number of days in the month to find the rent per day. Then, it multiplies the daily rent amount by the number of days the property was rented to get the prorated rent.
Limitations
The calculator assumes that each day in the month has the same rental value and does not take into account leap years, variations in utility expenses, or mid-day move-ins and move-outs.
