Refill Calculator
How to Use the Refill Calculator
To use the calculator, simply fill in the following fields:
- Initial Amount: The starting amount of the item.
- Consumption Rate: The rate at which the item is consumed per day.
- Days Passed: The number of days that have passed since the initial amount was measured.
Once you have filled in these fields, click the “Calculate” button to see the result. The result will show you the remaining amount.
How it Calculates the Results
The calculator subtracts the product of the consumption rate and the number of days passed from the initial amount. The formula used is:
Result = Initial Amount – (Consumption Rate * Days Passed)
Limitations
Please note that the calculator does not account for any additional refills that might have occurred during the time period. It assumes a consistent consumption rate and that no extra amounts have been added to the initial amount after the starting point. For negative results, it indicates that a refill is needed, as the current amount cannot be less than zero.
