Semester Grade Calculator – Accurate & Easy-to-Use Tool

This tool helps you calculate your average semester grade based on your individual class grades.

Semester Grade Calculator Instructions

This calculator helps you determine your final grade for the semester based on the individual grades from different assignments and exams.

How to Use

  • Enter your grade for Assignment 1 in the first input field.
  • Enter your grade for Assignment 2 in the second input field.
  • Enter your grade for the Midterm Exam in the third input field.
  • Enter your grade for the Final Exam in the fourth input field.
  • Enter your grade for Class Participation in the last input field.
  • Click on the ‘Calculate’ button to see your final semester grade in the Result field.

How It Calculates

The final semester grade is calculated based on the following weights:

  • Assignment 1: 20%
  • Assignment 2: 20%
  • Midterm Exam: 25%
  • Final Exam: 25%
  • Class Participation: 10%

The total grade is computed by multiplying each individual grade by its corresponding weight and summing up these values to get the final semester grade.

Limitations

This calculator assumes that each category (assignment, exams, participation) has an assigned weight and all grades are out of 100. It does not account for extra credit or special grading policies that an instructor might use. Ensure you enter valid numerical values between 0 and 100 for accurate results.
