How to Use the Calculator
To use this Skyrim Perk Calculator, input your current skill level in the skill area you are calculating for (between 15 and 100). Then, input the number of perks you have already spent in that skill area. Finally, click the “Calculate” button to see how many perks are available for you to use.
How It Calculates Results
The calculator determines the number of perks you are able to invest in any given skill area based on your skill level. Skyrim allocates one perk to invest every 20 levels starting at level 1. Hence, this calculator subtracts one from your skill level, divides it by 20, rounds down to the nearest whole number, and then adds one to obtain the total number of perks you should have at that skill level. It then subtracts the number of perks you have already used from the subtotal to give you the number of available perks to use.
Limitations of the Calculator
This calculator assumes that only skill level contributes to perk availability and does not take into account perks that are awarded from sources other than leveling up. Additionally, it operates under the assumption that each skill level increment grants perks in a consistent manner, which may not reflect game mechanics influenced by mods or other variables.
