This Swiss triangle tool will quickly calculate the hypotenuse, perimeter, and area of a right-angled triangle for you.

## Swiss Triangle Calculator

### How to Use the Swiss Triangle Calculator

Enter the lengths of two sides and the angle in degrees between them. Click “Calculate” to find the length of the third side.

### How It Works

This calculator uses the law of cosines to determine the length of the third side of the triangle:

*c = √(a² + b² – 2ab * cos(γ))*

Where:

*a*and*b*are the lengths of the sides*c*is the length of the side to find*γ*is the angle between sides*a*and*b*

### Limitations

The calculator does not validate input values beyond requiring them to be numbers. Make sure to enter positive values for sides and an angle between 0 and 180 degrees. Values outside this range will lead to incorrect calculations or errors.
