How to Use the Calculator
Enter the total hours you’ve worked for the week in the “Hours Worked” field and your hourly rate in the “Hourly Rate” field. Then click “Calculate” to find out your total pay, including any time-and-a-half overtime pay.
How the Calculator Works
The calculator assumes that the first 40 hours are paid at your standard rate and any hours beyond that are paid at time and a half (1.5 times your hourly rate). It calculates your total pay by adding your regular income (hours up to 40 times your regular rate) with your overtime income (any hours over 40 times the overtime rate).
Limitations
The calculator does not account for different overtime laws that may be applicable in certain states or countries, such as double time. It assumes a standard 40-hour work week and does not accommodate for any special circumstances like holiday pay.
