Titration Calculator – Accurate & Easy-to-Use Solution Finder

Our titration calculator helps you accurately determine the concentration of an unknown solution by calculating the volume and molarity of the titrant used.

Titration Calculator

The Titration Calculator helps you determine the concentration of an unknown analyte in a solution through titration.

Instructions

Enter the volume and concentration of the titrant (the standard solution with known concentration). Afterward, enter the volume of the analyte (the solution being analyzed). Click “Calculate” to determine the concentration of the analyte based on the input provided. The calculation assumes a 1:1 molar ratio between titrant and analyte.

How It Calculates Results

The calculator uses the formula c2 = (v1 × c1) / v2, where:

  • v1: Volume of titrant
  • c1: Concentration of titrant
  • v2: Volume of analyte
  • c2: Concentration of analyte (calculated result)

Limitations

This calculator assumes a 1:1 molar ratio, which is common in many titrations but not all. It does not account for complexometric titrations, redox reactions, or other stoichiometric relationships. Always verify the molar ratio for your specific titration experiment before using this calculator.
