Treadmill Pace Chart Calculator
How to Use the Treadmill Pace Chart Calculator
To use the calculator, simply input the total distance covered on the treadmill in miles, and the total time taken in the format of hours, minutes, and seconds (hh:mm:ss). For example, if you ran 3.5 miles in 30 minutes and 45 seconds, you would enter “3.5” for the distance and “00:30:45” for the time. After filling in both fields, click the “Calculate” button to see your pace per mile.
How It Calculates the Results
The calculator first converts the time into total seconds, then divides this by the distance run to find the average pace per mile in seconds. It subsequently converts this back into minutes and seconds for a user-friendly pace format. The result is the average pace you have been running at per mile.
Calculator Limitations
This calculator assumes a constant speed throughout the entire run, which may not account for variations in pace. It is also limited by the accuracy of the inputs provided; incorrect or imprecise inputs will yield inaccurate pace calculations. Additionally, the calculator currently does not accommodate inputs for distances in kilometers or times over 24 hours.
