Use this TSAT calculator to quickly and accurately determine your total score.

TSAT Calculator

This calculator helps you determine your TSAT (Transferrin Saturation) using your cholesterol levels. Please enter your total cholesterol, HDL cholesterol, and triglycerides in the fields above and click ‘Calculate’ to see your TSAT.

How to Use

  1. Enter your total cholesterol level (mg/dL).
  2. Enter your HDL cholesterol level (mg/dL).
  3. Enter your triglycerides level (mg/dL).
  4. Click the ‘Calculate’ button to get your TSAT value.

How It Calculates

The calculator uses the Friedewald equation to estimate LDL (Low-Density Lipoprotein) cholesterol: LDL = Total Cholesterol - HDL - (Triglycerides / 5). This value provides an estimate of your LDL cholesterol level.

Limitations

Note that the calculation is an estimate and may not be accurate for individuals with triglycerides levels above 400 mg/dL or less than 100 mg/dL. Always consult with a healthcare provider for precise measurements and advice.
