This tool will help you quickly calculate the unit rate from any given values.

## How to Use the Unit Rate Calculator:

1. Enter the total amount or cost into the “Numerator” field.

2. Enter the total count or units into the “Denominator” field.

3. Click the “Calculate” button.

4. The result will show in the “Result” field.

## How It Calculates the Result:

The unit rate calculator takes the total amount/cost (numerator) and divides it by the total count/units (denominator) to find the unit rate. For example, if you have a total cost of $50 for 5 items, the unit rate would be $50 / 5 items = $10 per item.

## Limitations:

- The calculator currently only supports numerical input and does not validate whether the inputs are positive or negative.
- Division by zero is not allowed and will result in an error message.
- Both numerator and denominator fields are required to perform the calculation.
