How It Calculates

This calculator uses the Mifflin-St Jeor Equation to estimate your daily caloric needs:

  • For men: (10 * weight) + (6.25 * height) - (5 * age) + 5
  • For women: (10 * weight) + (6.25 * height) - (5 * age) - 161
