Use this Wilks calculator to determine your strength performance in powerlifting relative to your body weight.
Wilks Calculator
How the Wilks Calculator Works
The Wilks Calculator is used to measure the strength of a powerlifter against other powerlifters despite the differences in body weight. After inputting your body weight, the total weight lifted, and selecting your gender, the calculator applies the Wilks Coefficient formula to provide a score that can be used to compare lifters of different sizes.
How to Use the Calculator
Enter your body weight in kilograms in the first input field, and the total amount of weight you lifted in kilograms in the second input field. Choose your gender from the dropdown menu, and then click the “Calculate” button. The calculator will display your Wilks score in the “Result” field.
Limitations of the Calculator
The Wilks Calculator assumes that the inputted body weight is accurate and is the same body weight at the time of the lift. Additionally, it uses the Wilks Coefficient formula, which has its limitations, such as not taking into account age, experience, or lifting technique. It also does not account for differences in body composition. Therefore, while the Wilks score is a widely recognized method to compare lifters, it should not be seen as the only measure of strength or performance.
