Kinematics Calculator – Solve Motion Problems Quickly

This kinematics calculator helps you swiftly compute the motion parameters of objects based on initial velocity, acceleration, and time.

How to Use the Kinematics Calculator

The kinematics calculator helps you find unknown values in the equations of motion. Here is how you use it:

  1. Fill in any three known values.
  2. Press the “Calculate” button to compute the unknown values.
  3. The result will be displayed in the “Result” field.

How It Works

The calculator uses the standard equations of motion to compute the result:

  • v = u + at – Final velocity after time t
  • s = ut + 1/2 at2 – Displacement after time t
  • s = (u + v) / 2 × t – Displacement using average of initial and final velocity
  • v2 = u2 + 2as – Final velocity based on displacement and acceleration

Limitations

This calculator assumes uniform acceleration and straight-line motion. It is not suitable for calculations involving changing acceleration or curved trajectories.
