How It Works
The calculator determines the score you need on the final exam to achieve your desired overall course grade. It uses the formula:
finalExamGrade = (desiredGrade - (currentGrade * (1 - finalWeight))) / finalWeightIt factors in your current course grade, the weight of the final exam on your overall grade, and the grade you desire in the course.
Limitations
This calculator assumes that all input values are in percentage form and the weight of the final exam is between 1% and 100%. It also does not factor in grade curving or any additional coursework. The result is not guaranteed and should only be used as a guide.
